GameFly, the leading subscription-based video game rental company has an outstanding opportunity for a CONTENT COORDINATOR/ASSOCIATE CONTENT MANAGER in our Culver City, CA headquarters.

Working closely with the Content Manager, the Content Coordinator/Associate Content Manager will be primarily responsible for inputting and tracking game-related content for all new games. This includes: inputting instructions/keywords/game specifications into the content management system, writing/editing 100-word game descriptions for coming titles based on Web research, swapping out products on the GameFly Web site, acquiring game box art and uploading images into our system, scanning box art and using Photoshop to make artwork site-ready, building html versions of e-mails; tracking/reporting on e-mails in Excel.

Key Responsibilities

Homepage product change outs
Inputting game-related content into content management system
Scanning and uploading game box art, locating game box art online and uploading to system.
Matching products with content partner databases
Managing game descriptions: assigning, writing, proofing and uploading
Creating html and text versions of e-mails
Web site Analytics reporting
Auditing User Reviews
Working on larger Content projects as assigned by Content Manager

Education/Experience

Exceptional attention to detail.
Strong writing ability and excellent knowledge of grammar.
Ability to work efficiently under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
PC and basic Mac knowledge required, familiarity with MS Excel, MS Word.
Basic knowledge of Dreamweaver, Image scanning and Adobe Photoshop helpful.
Accurate and fast data entry skills.
Passion for, and experience working in the video game industry helpful but not necessary.
One year of experience working in a web environment preferred.
A bachelor's degree in English, journalism, communications or related field helpful but not necessary.
