London - Telcogames, a developer and publisher of mobile games, announced on Thursday that it has acquired Australia-based mobile multiplayer game developer Viva La Mobile for an undisclosed sum.

Founded in 2003, Viva La Mobile's Redstar mobile multiplayer game platform has been utilized by carriers including 3 Australia, Telstra, Smartone Vodafone Hong Kong and PCCW Sunday Hong Kong.

Collectively, subscribers to carriers using the platform have logged more than 1.4 million paid multiplayer game sessions.

London-based Telcogames said that Orange Israel will be its first customer to launch Viva's multiplayer games in September, with titles including Taito's "Super Puzzle Bobble" and Viva's own "Badlands."
