San Francisco - VideoEgg, a video advertising network for social networks and other online communities, announced on Wednesday that it has raised $15 million in a new round of financing, led by Focus Ventures.
WPP, August Capital and Maveron also participated in the round.
Founded in 2005, San Francisco-based VideoEgg delivers video ads on social networks including Facebook, Bebo, Hi5 and Flixster.
More than 100 advertisers use its network, including Universal Pictures, Unilever, Ford, Nike and Electronic Arts.
The company will use the funds to grow its advertising network business and accelerate product development efforts.
