Raleigh, N.C. - The Real Cities Network, a national network of local news websites operated by McClatchy Interactive, announced that it has added 51 websites of MediaNews Group to its network, adding to the 31 MediaNews sites that are already part of it. In addition to local news websites, MediaNews Group operates four vertical websites focusing on niche markets such as travel, entertainment, automobiles and real estate. The Real Cities Network has a presence in these categories, and the addition of the sites "will solidify visibility in the communities served by these vertical sites," the company said.
