Mobile Games Firm Ideaworks3D Gets Investment

London - Ideaworks3D, a developer of mobile games and provider of mobile game development tools, has raised an undisclosed amount of new funding, from Japan Asia Investment Co., PEHub.com reported.

Founded in 1998 as a spin-off from the London Business School's iLab, Ideaworks3D AirPlay platform enables development across BREW, Java, Symbian OS, Linux and Windows Mobile platforms.

The company has also created mobile versions of PC and console game franchises, including "The Sims," "Tomb Raider," "Need for Speed" and "Final Fantasy."
