New York - MyPublisher, a provider of photo books and design software for digital photographers, had raised an $8.9 million investment led by Mousse Partners.

The management consulting firm is led by Charles Heilbronn, who has been a member of the MyPublisher board of directors for over two years.

Founded in 1994 by former Atlantic Monthly Press CEO Carl Navarre, New York-based MyPublisher now offers Internet-based retail distribution of its software, having phased out its "offline" distribution partnerships.
