San Francisco - iPhoneSIMFree.com has begun shipping its software application that allows iPhone owners to unlock the device for use on networks other than AT&T. Several news outlets have confirmed that the software works, although some services like visual voicemail aren't supported. The developers are distributing the software through third-party retailers; it is currently being offered for $100 in the U.S., and $50 US in Australia.
