vSocial Raises Funds for Hosting Social Networking for Video Services

Tempe, Ariz. - vSocial, a provider of hosted social networking for video services, announced on Wednesday the closing of its second round of financing, led by Biltmore Ventures and previous backer Consor Capital.

The amount of the funding was not disclosed.

Tempe, Ariz.-based vSocial, launched in 2002, lets content owners, portal operators and online marketing firms offer branded video; customers include UPS, Disney and Fosters.

The company said its vSocial.com generates 200,000 unique daily visitors and serves over 1.5 million videos each day.

vSocial will use the funds to expand development and grow its sales and marketing capabilities.
