London - Apple has invited media to a press conference in London next Tuesday, at which it is expected to announce which European wireless carriers will offer its iPhone when it launches there in the fall, Reuters reported.

Rumored to have won initial contracts are O2 in the U.K., T-Mobile in Germany and Orange in France.

The deals are expected to give Apple a share of both data and voice revenues generated by the iPhone.

The company recently announced sales of 1 million iPhones in the U.S., and a $200 price cut on the device, along with a $100 rebate for early purchasers.
