Durham, N.C. - Motricity, a provider of mobile content technology, is close to completing a $175 million investment, the Triangle Business Journal reported on Friday.

The report also said that Motricity is negotiating the purchase of the mobile business of directory search company InfoSpace.

The deal is expected to be announced shortly, according to the report. Motricity is privately held.
