Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Inc. seeks a Director, Business Development – Online for the Online department. Position develops and executes new online syndication deals. Identifies potential clients, negotiates and structures deals, and works with legal to close transactions.

WARNER BROS. DIGITAL DISTRIBUTION was founded in October 2005 to manage the worldwide electronic distribution streams of the Studio's product over existing, new and emerging digital platforms, including pay-per-view, electronic sell-through, video-on-demand, subscription-video-on-demand, wireless and more. WBDD also oversees the Studio's worldwide digital strategy, partnerships in digital services and emerging new clients and business activities in the digital space.

WBDD is charged with managing the Studio's retail and consumer transition of product produced by Warner Home Video and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment from a purely packaged distribution scheme to one that supports both packaged and digital distribution, as well as both standard and high definition formats.


Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Inc. seeks a Director, Business Development – Online for the Online department. Position develops and executes new online syndication deals. Identifies potential clients, negotiates and structures deals, and works with legal to close transactions. Develops and executes new online licensing relationships. Identifies potential clients, negotiates and structures deals. Works with advertisers on sponsorship deals for viral content distribution. Achieve established revenue goals by maximizing revenue through all partnerships and deals. Oversees Manager, Sales Development and delegates responsibilities. Presents key deals for approval. Develops and communicates sales pipeline on a weekly basis. Works with Director of Digital Development to help inform online content strategy. Works with internal departments (e.g. WHV, Warner theatrical, WBDD Marketing & Operations, WDD legal) to source, create, and/or clear relevant content. Ascertains (from existing data, clients, research) what works in the online content area. Works with the Marketing & Operations Group to develop programming packages/schedules for online clients. Responsible for seamless transition from sales to project/account management and oversees client relationships. Works with Marketing to drive traffic to WBDD content. Works with Operations team to ensure proper delivery of content. Works with Finance team to ensure proper reporting. Works with VP, Sales on the continued development and execution of strategic business plan and direction. Identify new business opportunities and new products. Maintain thorough understanding of online business and trends. Work with divisional resources to prepare ongoing presentations, memos, and financial models for senior management.

Requirements:
MBA preferred. Minimum 7 years experience in negotiating business development or sales deals. Previous experience in the online/Internet industry required. Experience with programming a plus. High level advertiser relationships a plus. Familiarity with the entertainment media industries. Ability to manage all levels of individuals. Proven success in dealing with senior business executives at all levels. Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills. Strong analytical and negotiation skills. Strong familiarity with the online industry. Strong presentation skills.
