Seattle - Comcast, the nation's largest cable TV provider, will acquire Seattle-based BuddyTV, a community site that features TV news, spoilers and interviews, PaidContent.org reported, citing unnamed sources.
Financial terms of the deal were not reported.
Seattle-based BuddyTV attracts around 3 million unique users per month to its site, which is home to communities of fans of TV shows like "24" and "CSI."
Less than two months ago, the company received a $2.8 million investment led by Gemstar-TV Guide International, operator of TVGuide.com.
