Don’t Miss Millennials NYC Next Week – More than Just Another Conference

Authored by Jay Baage on September 18, 2007 - 4:09am.
On September 27, DMW is taking the Millennials Conference to NYC. Speakers are confirmed from big digital media companies such as Nokia, MTV and Yahoo as well as from smaller innovative companies such as Stardoll, Habbo Hotel and Pandora. This is more than just another conference – in an open and fun atmosphere, we let the kids give us a reality check and attendees will see virtual world demos as well as get the first issue of the brand new book “Millennials & The Digital Entertainment Age - A Sourcebook for Consumer Marketers” to bring home. Attendence is limited so make sure to grab one of the few tickets still available!

The focus of the conference is on how to create digital entertainment experiences and immersive marketing that appeals to Millennials, born between 1982 and 2000. In a few years, they will be the most significant consumer sector for the media  and entertainment industries. With this in mind, online communities, social networks and digital entertainment are sure to become central to marketing strategies and brand-building in the 21st century.

So how do you navigate this space? Millennials are fragmented and difficult to reach. This conference is designed to put you face-to-face with some of the most innovative companies in this space and shed some light on issues such as the following:

    * What makes this generation tick?
    * How do you deliver the right message?
    * How do you design a product or service that will enhance and empower their lifestyles as well as allow self-expression?
    * How do you monetize new viral economies like MySpace, Second Life & YouTube?
    * What new business models are emerging for consumer-generated media?

Though the recently announced Project Millennials - an ongoing research project to provide practical information, case studies and strategic advice for consumer marketers focused on Millennials – this one-day event will provide insight that is not yet available anywhere else.

We also want to let you know about a special deal we have with Ypulse Mashup and Digital Life, which kick off at the Javits Center in New York City on September 28, the day after our event. We encourage you to attend both events and are offering a nice discount for attendees of our event to purchase a joint pass covering Millennials, Ypulse Mashup and a Digital Life VIP pass.

Our last Millennials conference at UCLA was a great success and we encourage you to grab this opportunity before it is too late. The next chance will be in Toronto at the Canadian Music Week, March 5, 2008.
