London - Emote Games, a provider of financing for game developers, announced on Tuesday that it has received an $8 million investment from Electra Quoted Management, which will be used to grow the company's investment portfolio.

London-based Emote works with brand owners and developers to leverage their intellectual property, and publish titles across multiple platforms.

The company also provides a proprietary social games networking and character entertainment platform, which lets publishers add social networking features to their brands.
