Needham, Mass. - Matchmine, a developer of content recommendation technology, has raised $10 million in financing from the Kraft Group.

Matchmine asks users to create a "MatchKey," establishing their preferences by rating movies, music, online videos and blogs.

This profile is then used to make content recommendations on sites that partner with Matchmine, which initially will include Peerflix, FilmCrave and Fuzz.com.

Massachusetts-based Matchmine was founded in 2005, and will introduce its technology at the DEMOfall conference next week.
