Dallas – Belo Corp., an owner of U.S. TV stations and newspapers, announced on Monday that it has made an undisclosed investment in Mochila, an online marketplace for text, video and photo content.

As part of the deal, Dallas-based Belo will also become a major content syndication partner in the Mochila marketplace.

Founded in 2006, New York-based Mochila's syndication platform allows publishers of all sizes to acquire content for free and earn a share of advertising revenue.
