Newton, Mass. - Finetune, a free online music discovery service that lets users create and share playlists, on Tuesday launched a Finetune application for the Facebook social network. Finetune, which claims 1.2 million users, said the Facebook application will let users share their playlists and trade comments on them with one another; create 'favorite artist of the day' soundtracks with friends; and create social soundtracks with other users.
