VP Audience/Network Development - ROO - New York, NY

Provide strategic direction and oversight for driving traffic to ROO’s online video network.  ROO’s network includes hundreds of affiliate partner sites throughout the world.

Key responsibilities:
  • Develop, manage and spearhead global audience development strategies for ROOtv.com and ROO’s clients
  • Identify, develop and manage effective strategic partnership and affiliate initiatives
  • Establish and lead online audience development plans utilizing Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), viral marketing techniques and distributed product feeds via MRSS and XML.
  • Analyze internal and external traffic patterns and design strategies to optimize revenue potential.
  • Work closely and communicate regularly with senior management and the marketing, product development, technology, advertising sales, distribution sales and content teams
Skills:
  • 5+ years prior internet-related experience required with a minimum of 3+ years SEM, SEO and PPC experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate traffic
  • Strong contract negotiation and deal closing skills
  • Excellent analytical ability and thorough knowledge of financial modeling techniques
  • Extremely organized with excellent project management skills
  • Outstanding oral and written communications
  • Strong understanding of the web industry and related technologies
  • Must be comfortable presenting to clients.  An agency or consulting background is ideal.
