Report: Apple, Orange Still Debating iPhone Revenue Terms

Authored by Mark Hefflinger on September 27, 2007 - 7:57am.

Paris - Apple and France Telecom are at odds over the percentage of service revenues the Orange mobile network would pay to Apple for the right to distribute the iPhone in France, possibly jeopardizing the device's launch there in time for the holidays, Reuters reported, citing an article on the website of French business magazine Challenges.

Both companies declined to comment to Challenges, which did not cite sources for its story.

Apple has already struck European iPhone distribution deals with O2 in the U.K. and T-Mobile in Germany.
