Single Touch Interactive Acquires Marketing Firm Soapbox Mobile

San Diego - Singe Touch Interactive, a developer of mobile media download technology, announced on Tuesday that it has acquired Soapbox Mobile, a mobile marketing agency and technology provider.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

San Diego-based Single Touch's Abbreviated Dialing Codes allow consumers to access information on products and services via any mobile phone, and download content and audio products through voice services.

Founded in 2004, San Diego-based Soapbox has provided mobile marketing campaigns and also mobile ticketing services to customers including House of Blues, Amp'd Mobile, Harrah's Casinos and W Hotels.

"The combination of Single Touch's cross-carrier ADCs and Soapbox's campaign management solutions enable us to provide customers with a superior overall experience," said Soapbox president Dan Flanegan.
