Miley Cyrus is putting on one of the most successful tours of all timeArkansas - Five ticket-sales sites could be in violation of state ticket-scalping laws pertaining to the sale of seats for Miley Cyrus concerts, reports the Associated Press.  Arkansas Attorney General Dustin McDaniel has demanded to see documents from the sites.  He also believes fake tickets are being listed on sites to gauge value.  One ticket for a Charlotte, North Carolina show was scalped for $2,565.

The 54-show “Best of Both Worlds” tour has sold out, with many of the shows clearing out in minutes.

One of the sites McDaniel is investing is StubHub, owned by eBay.  The San Francisco-based company said through a spokesperson, Sean Pate, that it would cooperate with the investigation.

"What's often mistaken about our marketplace is that we procure and price tickets when, to the contrary, we simply provide a secure and managed online marketplace for those who wish to sell tickets they possess," Pate said.
