Liberty Media to Buy Remaining Common Shares of FUN Technologies

Toronto - FUN Technologies, a developer of online casual and fantasy sports games and sports information, said on Friday that John Malone's Liberty Media has agreed to acquire all of the outstanding shares it doesn't already own, for about $3.57 per share.

Currently, Liberty Media indirectly owns 53% of FUN Technologies.

Toronto-based FUN Technologies offers skill-based games for online, mobile and Interactive TV through its WorldWinner, SkillJam, Octopi and Teagames sites, and also manages games for partners including Virgin Games, eBay, MSN's Zone.com, Disney's Go.com, AOL and iVillage.

It also operates the fantasy sports portal Fanball.com, and provides fantasy sports products to AOL, NASCAR.com, PGA.com and NBA.com.

Liberty Media also owns or holds interests in Starz, Discovery Communications, QVC, Expedia, IAC/InteraActiveCorp and OpenTV.
