Local Digital Ad, Marketing Firm ReachLocal Gets $55.2 Million

Woodland Hills, Calif. - ReachLocal, a provider of local digital advertising and marketing services, announced on Tuesday that it has raised $55.2 million in its fourth round of venture capital financing, led by Rho Ventures.

Galleon Crossover Fund, and previous backer VantagePoint Venture Partners also participated.

Founded in 2004, Woodland Hills, Calif.-based ReachLocal offers small businesses a local search engine marketing service that links their online ad spending to offline sales activities.

The company has partnerships with Google, Yahoo, MSN, Superpages.com and others.

ReachLocal said it will use the new funds for product development, and to roll out its service both nationally and internationally.
