British soul singer Amy Winehouse will play next month’s mtvU Woodie Awards in New York City, according to TMZ. No one quite knows what a Woodie is at the moment, though Winehouse is up for Woodie of the Year. The show airs November 15th on mtvU and mtvU.com, but will be filmed November 8th at the Roseland Ballroom. By MTV’s recent experience with awards shows, the week-long delay is probably a smart move. The singer famous for the single Rehab recently cancelled her North American tour.
