Palo Alto, Calif. - AZTEQ Mobile, a provider of casual game development software for mobile phones, announced on Wednesday that it has received an undisclosed investment from Japanese game developer Camelot Co.

Palo Alto, Calif.-based AZTEQ said Camelot will also develop mobile games using its hardware SDK platform, which the company says "mirrors the familiarity of the console gaming environment, coupled with the functionality and performance game players will experience using the final handset."

Camelot has developed many Nintendo spin-off titles, such as "Mario Golf" and "Mario Tennis," as well as the "Golden Sun" series for GameBoy Advance.
