New York - Mobile entertainment publisher Zingy announced on Wednesday that it will shutter its ringtone and mobile personalization services division, and named Scott Jensen as its new CEO. The company will also now be known as Vindigo, which was the name of the firm that Zingy merged with in 2005. Jensen was previously senior vice president and head of business development for Zingy. "Our new strategic direction leverages our strengths as market leader in network-aware applications and refocuses us on the high-growth opportunities in mobile entertainment, which today are cross platform applications, mobile advertising, and casual games," said Jensen.
