New York - CBS has acquired Dotspotter, a San Francisco-based celebrity gossip blog, for around $10 million, Valleywag reported.

Co-founded by former Yahoo vice president Anthony Soohoo, Dotspotter launched its site in January, which in addition to celebrity-related news also features social networking elements.

CBS has also recently acquired Wallstrip, a financial news video blog, and Last.fm, a social music discovery service.
