Atlanta - The Weather Channel Interactive on Friday launched an optimized weather application for Apple's iPhone and iPod touch. The company said the application offers current conditions, hourly and 10-day forecasts, and maps "in a fully interactive environment where functionality like sliding pages and 'fade ins' make the user experience fun and unique."
