Report: Disney Drops Vanessa Hudgens After Nude Pic Scandal

The Vanessa Hudgens nude photos that spread across the Internet like wildfire might be the end of her career at Disney after all. OK! Magazine reports today that the 18-year old actress will not be asked back for the third High School Musical film.  We wondered last month if her days at the company were indeed numbered, which you can read about here.


The nude pic scandal shows how sensitive Disney is about anything that might negatively impact the enormously popular High School Musical series, which now crosses nearly every one of the media giant’s areas of expertise and has a big effect on the company’s bottom line.


“Disney finally decided that they don’t want her back,” an insider reveals to OK!. “They feel that as long as Zac Efron is in the movie, all will be fine. He’s the real star — the household name — and, most importantly, he comes without baggage.”


According to OK!’s source, one of the Cheetah Girls — Adrienne Baillon, 23, or possibly 23-year-old Sabrina Bryan — will take Vanessa's place:


“The producers think that after Dancing With the Stars, Sabrina will be more famous than Vanessa.”


However, While OK! magazine stands by its report that the teen star has been dumped, a rep for Hudgens told Access Hollywood later in the day that it was not the case.


“Totally untrue. It is an old rumor,” the rep told Access.


In addition, a spokesperson for Disney told Access they are still in talks with the actress for the next chapter in the “HSM” franchise:


“We are still in negotiations with all of the ‘High School Musical’ stars,” the spokesperson said.

why not good nude photos. why she might end the career. It is not equal. Nude photos are so nice. It is natural and health to being naked. Nudity is God's gift to us. I think that they need to give her a break it was on accident everyone makes mistakes. If she did it on purpose then she would be a slut but she didn't. Pleeez. Give her another chance Disney.

Omg, Vannessa Hudgens made a mistake. They should forgive her. It's no ones on the webs concern. It's all just a misunderstanding. Disney should forgive her, it's a mistake, and plus everyone makes them. Please Disney give her one more chance. She is one of my favorite characters. Well, please Disney hire her back.

I want to be a nudist

I want to be a nudist someday, so I definitely do not find Vanessa's photos obscene. Rather, they are tasteful, natural, and good. Nothing else, not obscene, not lewd, not pornographic, or anything else. I don't care if you disagree with me. I speak my mind and nothing anyone else says will make me change my mind. That said, I think everyone should be naturally nude, not just Vanessa and other celebrities that do so. Nudists should be role models for kids. Kids who are taught that nudity is lustful, shameful, and dirty by prudish parents is just going to lead them down the wrong path in life. On the other hand, kids who taught that nudity is natural and healthy will have better respect for themselves and others and not see anything wrong with it. How's that?
