Vimeo Launches High-Definition Video Sharing

New York - Vimeo, a video-sharing site operated by IAC and Connected Ventures, on Wednesday announced the introduction of support for high-definition video, which it claims is an industry first. Vimeo now allows videos to be shared in 720p (1280 x 720 resolution), compared with the 320 x 240 resolution on YouTube and many other video sites.
