Seattle - Melodeo, a provider of on-demand audio and video programming for the Web and mobile platforms, has raised $7.9 million in its third round of funding, led by Ignition Partners and Voyager Capital.

Seattle-based Melodeo's products include nuTsie, a free application that lets users port their iTunes libraries on the Web and mobile phones, and Mobilcast, which provides over 150,000 on-demand music, news and other programs on mobile phones.

The company recently signed a deal with Korean Telecom Freetel (KTF) to distribute its services in Korea.

Its technology is also used in a joint venture with Access Co. Ltd., Sony BMG, Warner Music and Motorola that delivers mobile music and multimedia entertainment to wireless subscribers in China and other Asia Pacific countries.

Melodeo will use the funds to advance its nuTsie product.
