New York - Viacom's Comedy Central cable network launched a dedicated website for its "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart" program on Thursday, which features almost every episode the program has aired in its nine-year history.

DailyShow.com does not offer full-episode streaming, but rather over 16,000 clips that combined contain most of the show's content.

The site offers episodes dating back to 1999; pre-1999 episodes, when the show was hosted by Craig Kilborn, are expected to be added early next year.

Viacom has lately moved to post its own TV content online, after seeing unauthorized clips of its programs like "The Daily Show" and "South Park" become popular on YouTube. The company filed a $1 billion copyright suit against Google in March over the unauthorized clips of its content on YouTube.

"People should be reacting to 'The Daily Show' on its own site," Erik Flannigan, EVP of digital media at MTV Networks, told The Hollywood Reporter. "God bless them doing it everywhere else, but this should be the epicenter of it."
