Seattle - Tioti, a social media aggregation site that indexes TV content on the Web, has raised an undisclosed sum in its first round of venture capital financing, led by Pond Venture Partners.

Launched in October, Tioti -- which has offices in Seattle and London -- indexes more than 75,000 TV shows and 500,000 individual episodes available for download, and offers users social tools for recommendations and discussion.

The company will use the funding to improve its infrastructure and expand marketing efforts.
