London - U.K.-based Blinkbox.com has launched a service that allows users to download movies and TV shows, as well as forward clips to friends, Variety reported. Content providers on the service include Warner Bros., Universal, Paramount, Aardman and Discovery Networks. The service currently features six clips from each movie offered, which include "Syriana" and "The Big Lebowski," which can be forwarded to a PC for free, or to a mobile phone for about 61 cents. Blinkbox launched this week in beta for U.K. users, with plans to expand across Europe next year.
