Tempe, Ariz. - Limelight Networks, a provider of content delivery network services for digital media, on Tuesday announced the launch of a new service for the delivery of high-definition media and digital content over the Internet. The LimelightHD service will deliver 720p and 1080p resolution video, and support players including Adobe's Flash, Microsoft Windows Media, Microsoft Silverlight and the Move Media Player. The company said initial customers for service will include Internet TV service Brightcove, Fox Interactive Media, MSN Video and Rajshri.com, India's largest broadband video portal.
