McLean, Va. - USAToday.com said on Tuesday that it has launched five new widgets designed to help its readers share news and information through their blogs, social networks and websites. The company launched its first widgets in early September, and plans to roll out its new offerings through mid-November. New widgets include online celebrity video features and entertainment headlines, most popular headlines, political updates, a pop culture blog and the paper's popular "Snapshots" information graphic. The widgets can be used on partner sites including Blogger, Freewebs, iGoogle, MySpace and TypePad, among others.
