Web Book Publisher TasteBook Launches With CondeNet Investment

Berkeley, Calif. - TasteBook, an online service that lets users create personal books comprised of content found online, on Wednesday launched its service and announced an investment from CondeNet, the digital arm of publisher Conde Nast.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

TasteBook also partnered with CondeNet's recipe site, Epicurious.com, to allow users to create hardcover cookbooks from its library of 25,000 recipes.

Using the TasteBook service itself is free, while printing a personal cookbook with up to 100 recipes costs $34.95.

Berkeley, Calif.-based TasteBook was founded in February by Ofoto co-founder Kamran Mohsenin.
