New York - Advertising giant WPP Group announced that it has acquired Blast Radius, a digital ad agency based in Vancouver, B.C.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1997, Blast Radius counts clients including Starbucks and Nike, and reported $43 million in revenue last year.

The company will become a part of Wunderman, part of WPP's Young & Rubicam Brands.

The deal continues WPP's recent digital agency buying spree, which includes last month's purchase of Los Angeles-based Schematic, and the $649 million acquisition of 24/7 Real Media in July.
