Dundee, Scotland - Tag Games, a Scotland-based mobile game developer and publisher, announced on Tuesday that it has raised "significant" new funds, from investors including the Scottish Enterprise Seed Fund and entrepreneur Bill Dobbie.

Founded in April 2006 by a team that worked on titles including "Grand Theft Auto" and "State of Emergency," Tag Games has developed mobile games including "Dead Water" and "Football Pro."

The company will use the funds to hire additional staff, and diversify into casual downloadable games.
