Toronto - Video-sharing service mDialog has raised $3.15 million in first round funding from angel investors, VentureBeat reported.
Toronto-based mDialog licensed Apple's MPEG-4 video technology, and created a desktop video upload application that creates files viewable on Apple products including the iPhone, iPod and AppleTV.
The company is also offering its services to film festivals, to help with the submissions process, and positioning itself as a potential marketplace for independent filmmakers.
