Casual Games Developer Rebel Monkey Gets Funding

New York - Rebel Monkey, a developer of casual games, has received $225,000 of a $1 million first round of financing from Redpoint Ventures, PEHub.com reported, citing a regulatory filing.

New York-based Rebel Monkey was founded in February by Nick Fortugno and Margaret Wallace, who previously worked with Skunk Studios and Gamelab, respectively.

The company says it is currently working on several unannounced titles.
