San Francisco - ZVUE Corporation (formerly HandHeld Entertainment), a provider of video entertainment sites and maker of a portable media player, announced on Thursday that it has completed its $17.5 million of video-sharing site eBaum's World, and raised $28.1 million in new financing.

The company sold $28.1 million of three-year convertible debentures -- $4.1 more than previously announced -- of which $14.3 million is for the eBaum's acquisition, with the remaining $13.7 million to be used for future mergers and acquisitions, working capital, and repayment of existing debt and fees.

San Francisco-based ZVUE said its network of websites now reaches more than 24 million unique visitors per month.
