unfortunately everyone ends up saying racist slurs these days - its just he is a public figure head - im not condoning it but he shouldnt be penalised forever its not fair.

If you watch his show, he cusses all of the time, F this and F that, but he says the N word and everyone stops and says, hey wait a minute, that language isn't right. WOW how far are we falling, lol man grow up and give the guy a break, everyone says things they don't mean when they are mad, that's being a human. Kinda looks to melike his boy was mad because Dog don't like his girlfriend so this was his way of getting back his daddy. WHAT, ARE WE IDIOTS..... WAKE UP AMERICA!!!!

So it's okay for someone who is a public figure and has a televised show (seen by people of all races and ages)to go around refering to black people by the N word? What makes him so special? Why should we keep a person like that on television? Are you serious? How ignorant are you? We might as well go back 50 years in time if we're going to stoop to that level. We might as well let people get on tv and say what they want regardless who it affects; jews, blacks, gays, whites, the sick, poor, rich or healthy. Wake up America...to what? If anything you need to wake up. You don't solve issues that AFFECT people by saying "oh well, it happens!" You may not be affected by such comments but there are a whole lot of people who are affected.

I am a white woman rasing a biracial child and I'm sorry Dog is no diffrent than everyone else they have targetted him and its crap. If he was not a celebrity would we even be discussing this? I neither like nor dislike Dog the Bounty Hunter but after hearing the taped conversation I have to say that their is more to this story than was heard by that edited tape. Obviously, this girl was trouble and Dog was right to be on guard around her and not want her around. Let's get real, in his line of work there is going to be bad language, I don't think he meant it to be a racial slurr but a slurr of her character, I think no matter what her heritage was he would have referred to her in that way. Every race has a racial slurr, I am Italian but I do not refer to my friends and relatives of Italian decent as grease balls, mafioso, or dago's. It's time the blacks stop referring to themselves as N____'s if they want it to stop. They have put it in their music, used it as a term of endearment or a macho thing making it cool. Stop it and it will stop.

I think that it would be an injustice for us to lose Dog the Bounty Hunter over something like this. Dog is a good man that has helped many people who have found themselves in trouble. He shows young people that they can be cool and still be tough and follow the law. With all the violent shows on tv, I can not believe that they want to get rid of his show. It actually helps people who are lost. Stop for one minute A&E people and think about all the good Dog and his family have done. I for one, want to watch the Bounty Hunter show and will continue to do so if you will just let it stay on the air.

He was having a private conversation with his son. A&E is doing the wrong thing by taking him off their network. He has so many fans they will be the loser. My family will not watch A&E until he is back on. His program was very entertaining. It was the only entertainment A&E has put on their network as far as I am concerned.

As far as I'm concerned a biggot gets anything they diserve, because if everything was the way they wanted it to be in this world, only a SELECT FEW would benefit. Obviously he took the fall because he was a celebrity, and while the average person in this country uses racial slurs because they are a piece of classless trash that doesn't know any better, they aren't celebrities that have much to lose. If we were all celebrities and used slurs all day (because trust me I'm sure he's used it a billion times, and hasn't just limited it to black people )and were caught , we'd lose our show too.People like him don't bring together or build or nurture, they seperate, they take, and they teach HATE, and while people might not listen to him all the time ( like his son ), it still won't stop him from teaching it. If he were a decent person anyway, this wouldn't have happened to him, Karma is a bitch. So for the love of God don't get all shocked and butt hurt that he lost his show, he's a public figure and with that much fame always comes alot of responsibility, due to the fact they have more influence unfortunately, on impressionable people that are raised simple mindedly. And don't worry everyone... All the fans that are upset, I'm quite sure there will be another person that uses racial slurs that you can admire before they yank him off too. I am a average everyday person this racial crap has gone far enough when you start punishing people for private conversations then this is no longer America. Dog never once said anything bad about black pople he in fact said he had nothing against them, just the fact that he used the word nigar he loses everything. Everyone sems to forget that he put his life on the line everyday and took all kinds of criminals off the streets, white, black, men, women, mexican,and any other race that was bad. He is a great role model for our children, he teaches through his show the use of drugs is a awful life,so he said nigar who hasn't black people say it more than anyone. Give him the credit he deserves, he went to Mexico and got that rapist when our own goverment wouldn't and was aressted for taking a bad peron off the radar and this makes him a HERO and how do you repay him by taking him off the air. what happened to America???????????

The word is more than insulting, it's dehumanizing, but who said Dog was supposed to be a girl scout? He's a bounty hunter, he spent years in prison. Prisons are the most racist places on Earth. Take into consideration where he comes from and how much he had to overcome to get where he is. Anyone who has seen his interviews or watched his shows knows that he is a genuinely compassionate person who wants to do what's right. He made a mistake, he shocked and hurt a lot of people who would never have expected him to say or even think that. But nobody's perfect, and of all people, who more deserves a second chance?

It's December, and all I want for Christmas is to have Dog the Bounty Hunter back on A & E Network. This show was the most entertainment I have had in years. I would set aside Tuesday evenings with our family to watch Dog and Beth with their exciting crew. Since Dog has left, I switched to watching Bravo and VH1. A & E really messed this one up. With Driving Force not on and Dog the Bounty Hunter gone, what else have you got? The SWAT guys have "been there", "done that" to death. A & E is DULL. "Little People, Big World" is a pretty good show, but we miss the Dog Hunting. BRING BACK THE DOG!!!!!!!!!!
