New York, N.Y. - Playlogic Entertainment, a New York-based video game publisher, on Friday announced that it has raised $12.3 million in a private placement of stock.

Playlogic Entertainment publishes games for PCs, consoles, handhelds, mobile devices, and other digital media.

The company has approximately 75 employees. Its internal game development studio, Playlogic Game Factory, is based in the Netherlands.
