Tokyo - The Nintendo Wii's sales lead over Sony's (NYSE: SNE) rival PlayStation 3 in Japan has declined for the fourth straight month, although it still outsold the PS3 by 2-to-1 in October, Reuters reported, citing sales data from Japan's Enterbrain.

Japanese Wii sales in October totaled 110,415 units, compared with 47,183 for the PlayStation 3; the Wii outsold the PS3 by an over 6-to-1 margin in June.

Meanwhile, Microsoft's (NYSE: MSFT) Xbox 360 continues to bring up the rear, having sold just 18,717 units in Japan during October.
