Soulja Boy Ballet Sweeps the Nation

The One & Only SouljaThe Soulja Boy dance, the hottest thing going, and 2007’s answer to the Electric Slide, has found a cult following in ballet classes across the country.  Watch several examples here.  Many of the classes have young kids reenacting the dance, and it begs the questions: 1) Has rap and ballet ever been united so closely? And 2) What, exactly, do the lines “Watch me Super Man dat hoe” and “Watch me Super Soak dat hoe” mean?  Your guess is as good as any, so feel free to drop a note if you have a clue.

Apparently the parents of the ballet students could care less about interpretations, though.  In the first video you hear people laughing, presumably the audience, and why not?  Super Soak dat hoe, kids!  Go for it!

In other Soulja Boy news, Chris Brown’s “Kiss Kiss” overtook “Crank Dat” on Billboard’s Hot 100’s chart.  Soulja Boy had held the top spot for seven weeks, and now “Kiss Kiss” has displaced it, with “Crank Dat” falling to #2.
