Plano, Texas - Two game industry veterans on Tuesday announced the formation of Beanbag Studios, a new studio that will develop PC, console and mobile games with a casual focus. Plano, Texas-based Beanbag, which will maintain a development studio in London, Ontario, was co-founded by Steve Bergenholtz, who created Sandbox Studios in 1998 and sold the company, which is now part of Electronic Arts, in 2001. The company expects to develop 20 original and licensed titles at its internal studio through 2008.
