Marina del Rey, Calif. - CinemaNow, an Internet movie and TV show download service, announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with Sonic Solutions (NASD: SNIC) to add the ability for consumers to burn downloaded purchases from its service to DVD. The movie industry recently approved such technology, which uses special DVD drives and recordable discs. CinemaNow said its content library will also be available within Sonic's movie download application, Roxio Venue, which is distributed through Sonic's partnerships with PC makers offering machines equipped with the special DVD burners.
