Commack, N.Y. - Raxxle.com on Tuesday announced the beta launch of its new social networking community that utilizes proprietary facial-recognition technology to generate both real-world and celebrity look-alike "matches" for its members. The company said the application creates celebrity matches based on a database of "Hollywood stars, sports legends, historical figures and more." New York-based Raxxle.com also touted its advertising opportunities, including featured events, groups and celebrity listings, and targeting by age, location, gender and hobbies.
