Morristown, N.J. - Access Integrated Technologies (NASD: AIXD), a provider of digital cinema systems, announced on Wednesday plans to provide up to an additional 10,000 of its systems to exhibitors in the U.S. and Canada, following the first phase of its roll-out to 3,750 screens. The second phase of AccessIT's deployment is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2008 and continue for three years.
